<p>PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operations and to eliminate the damage of a tape by rendering an operating button inoperative until a cassette is locked from a temporary mounting position in an actual mounting position. CONSTITUTION:After a cassette 2 is mounted in a temporary position of a cassette mounting device 1, the device 1 is depressed to an actual mounting position so that the shaft anchored at the device 1 turns a stopper 14 counter-clockwise while sliding in the groove 40 of the stopper 14. As a result, a lever 16 is turned about a pivot pin 8 through a spring 29. Thus, operating levers 22 to 26 are retained so that the operations are rendered impossible immediately before the device 1 is held in the actual mounting position. While the operating levers 22 to 26 are retained, moreover, the motor for driving a tape extracting guide post is kept irrotational.</p> |
