A method of and apparatus for producing discrete blanks from a web of foil or the like lis provided, in which the foil or the like are given continuous constrained guidance during the phase between separation of the web until transfer to a packet or packing machine. Severance from the web is carried out in at least one initial cut, followed by a main cut, during continuous constrained guidance. |
