WATER AND DUST PROOF DEVICE FOR ENCLOSED SWITCHBOARD

PURPOSE:To ensure the water and dust proof of an enclosed switchboard by providing three ring packings and a spring between a circuit breaker handle and a switchboard door thereby closing a gap between a hadle inserting hole and the door. CONSTITUTION:When a circuit breaker operating handle 11 is inserted through a switchboard door 20 and is pushed in to hole a circuit breaker 10 in a closed position, a movable flange 14 is pushed against the second ring packing 13 by the pressing force of a spring 6 and the third ring packing 15 is in close contact with a ring shaped part 21a of an interlock mechanism 21 to close the gap of the handle insertion hole with packings 13 and 15. When the handle 11 is pulled out to a testing position, the movable flange 14 is pressed against the first ring packing 12 and the gap is closed by packings 15 and 12 thereby ensuring the water and dust proof at the insertion hole.
