<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a honeycomb structure core mateial suitable for manufacture of sandwich construction having improved adhesive efficiency, by melting a hot-melt filmy adhesive temporarily attached to at least one surface of a honeycomb structure core. CONSTITUTION:The hot-melt adhesive formed into a film is laminated on the surface of the honeycomb structure core and hot-pressed, or temporarily bonded to the surface with another adhesive. Alternatively, a flowing hot-melt adhesive is applied to the surface of the honeycomb structure core 1 by extrusion coating, rolling, etc. to form a filmy adhesive layer. The structure thus obtained is heated to melt the filmy adhesive. The molten adhesive agglomerates by its shrinking cohesive force, concentrates in the bonding lines 2 of the honeycomb structure core 1, and attaches to the core 1 as shown by the adhesive parts 3.</p> |
