The bearing (2) of the bearing arrangement is situated, together with an associated sealing device, in a thin-walled sleeve (1). This sleeve (1) is embedded in an elastic ring (3) which is surrounded by a housing (4). Situated on both sides of the bearing (2), in the sleeve (1), are back-up washers (25, 26) which ensure that the originally set position of the bearing (2) in the sleeve (1) is maintained. This bearing arrangement, which permits wobbling movements of the shaft supported in it, operates reliably even when it is exposed to the effect of a hot medium such as, for example, a hot lye. <IMAGE> |
