<p>Continuously operating press used in mfr. of laminates, chipboards, fibreboards, has a bottom and top struts and endless press belts looping about the struts. Both struts have, at the intake and discharge ends,diverting and drive drums, respectively, with hydraulic drive for the press belts, and upper and lower roller frames with regulating rollers. Each roller frame can be swivelled about a vertical axis, within operationally necessary limits, and is also vertically adjustable to a limited degree, with the aid of cylinder-piston mechanisms. The regulating rollers can be automatically adjusted in dependence on belt tension and/or drive moment.</p> |
