<p>The valve body is particularly for a disc-type valve for food products and esp. for use in a brewery. It has the sealing surface area congruent with a seat in the housing with a groove (5). The lower portion (3) of the valve spindle has a discharge passage (7) leading outside the housing, to which the groove is connected. The groove can be peripherally set in a round disc-type valve body, the discharge passage being an axial drilling in the spindle. At the join between the groove and passage there can be an aperture in the body, at right angles to the passage.</p> |
