PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner wherein an air purifier and a humidifier are unitarily provided, and a minus ion generator is provided in the communicating path thereof, whereby minus ions are mixed in purified air to make air within the room effective for the promotion of health. CONSTITUTION:A current is caused to flow to heat generator 20 to heat a heating cylinder 19, and water within an evaporation tank 14 is heated and boiled to generate steam. The steam is sucked up by purified air passing through the heating cylinder 19 thereby to humidify the interior of the chamber. If the water level in the tank 14 is lowered, water is E supplied from a water supply tank 12. Upon this occasion, a minus ion generator is operated to generate minus ions, which are mixed in purified air and discharged in the chamber, whereby air in the chamber is conditioned excellently and is effective for the promotion of health. |
