PURPOSE:To raise all-over reliability by making mutual monitoring for supervisory unit and protective relay by regarding the both unit and relay as ones having the same reliability. CONSTITUTION:When the inspection command E is sent out of the supervisoly unit 3, it is recognized as the inspection command E1 by the protective relay 1, and then the trip signal B different from output as is expected previously is dispatched from the relay 1. The supervisory unit receiving the signal B transfers the inspection badness signal F to the protective relay 1 if the supervisory unit itself is normal after the completion of the command E1. The relay 1 receiving the signal F, then, gives the signal I to the unit 3. As the supervisory unit 3 receives the signal I, it dispatches the inspection command signal E2 to the protective relay 1, and thereby protective operation is made by using inspection data to make normal inspection. This mode enables one to make the inspection of supervisory unit to monitor the condition of the protective relay and also to continue protective treatment for the protective relay in case where only supervisory unit is out of order. |
