The pinion actuated lock is used for switching cabinet doors made of sheet steel. The pinion is divided into two adjacent toothed discs. The two flat racks are held between the two pinions. These racks have teeth on both sides, and include guides (27). The teeth of the pinion discs are displaced relative to each other by half pitch.
