PURPOSE:To eliminate or reduce false pictures generated by the picture re-constitution method using discrete Fourier conversion in a computer tomography unit. CONSTITUTION:In a computer tomography unit utilizing a Fourier face, since perspective image data processed actually must be a sampling value and the conversion from polar coordinates to orthogonal coordinates is required as the pre-processing performing two-dimensional reverse Fourier conversion, lack of sampling precision appears as false pictures. In this invention, a means which subjects coordinate conversion to a high-level interpolation and a means which subjects data to discrete Fourier conversion after adding N12-number data of value 0 to both sides of perspective image data g(s, thetaj) consisting of N-number sample values and obtaining 2N-number data g(s', thetaj) and interpolates DELTA marks between marks which are actual Fourier images are used to improve the precision of interpolation and reduce or eliminate false pictures. |
