The frame comprises sides upper and base plates and is esp. for radio and television sets. A foam plastic corner binder (2) at least partly extends into the interior of the housing frame (1) for support in grooves filled with foam plastic on the insides of the plates which it joins (3, 4, 5). The grooves are positioned in an inclined manner in the plates. The plates thus joined have inclined side surfaces, so that the corner binder narrows away to the inner space of the housing frame. The connecting edge of the binder runs inclined to the upper surface of the frame.
