PURPOSE:To reduce the air pollution in a long tunnel by transporting a vehicle upon loading on a special electric motor operated vehicle through the tunnel. CONSTITUTION:An electric motor operated vehicle body 1 is formed at the center thereof flat on the bottom surface 12 with right and left guides 13 to load a vehicle on the surface 12 from a loading platform 15. This vehicle incorporates front and rear trucks 2a, 2b rotatably supported via a center plate 11 with respect to the body 1 thereof, and runs on rails 5. This vehicle normally runs on the rails in the same manner as the train, but is guided, when loading or unloading a vehicle, to the place where accommodates loading and unloading platforms 15, 16 branched from the rails 5 into rails 5a, 5b by a branching unit 14 to be located as shown. A large vehicle on the body 1 is stopped longitudinal movements by stopping steps 10. |
