The large dia bale press is fitted to the front loader of a tractor. The bales are tied together for form larger units which are handled with the same tractor mounted implement. The drive for the implement is from wheels whose diameters correspond to that of the cylinder-shaped inner chamber of the collecting implement. The wheels are connected to rolling drums. The rims and the discs of the drive wheel define side walls of the cylindrical chamber of the implement.
