Housing for air cell driven electrical device, e.g. pocket calculator is designed so that the built-in air cells only receive their air or oxygen supply when they are put into service or use. The housing possesses at least one gas entry point which is kept sealed gas-tight at least prior to putting the cell(s) to use. The gas entry point is sealed by means of an adhesive gas-tight foil or film which can be self-adhesive.
