A spray can (10) is held firmly and positioned by two parts (1 and 3) which can be firmly joined together, a spray head (4) with trigger (6) serving for operation of the valve (18) of the spray can (10). The can contents are sprayed at the target through the channel (15) and the outlet opening (9). A securing pin (5) prevents unintentional operation of the trigger (6). The shape of the container parts (1 and 3) with beads (2) and lug (7) ensures secure grasping of the unit, which is of decisive importance for targeted spraying of the substances. The easy-to-grasp shape also prevents an antagonist being able to easily strike or tear the unit out of the hand of the user. <IMAGE>
