In a screen printing machine having a large printing table 3, a stencil stretched across said table, and means for moving a squeegee 5 across the stencil and the printing table are arranged to be relatively pivotable. Preferably the stencil frame 1a, 1b pivots about centre 6 so that at least during the early and later stages of squeegee movement, the stencil is brought into contact with material being printed only at the point of engagement of the squeegee 5. This counteracts the problem of a stencil sagging under its weight and the weight of ink thus producing blurred impressions. <IMAGE> |
