A colour television display tube having colour selection means which are connected electrically, via at least one metal contact spring, to a resistive layer provided internally on the envelope of the tube. The contact spring is in electrical contact with said resistive layer via a contact face which is provided on the resistive layer and consists of a layer of electrically readily conductive material.
