PURPOSE:To eliminate rubber smell volatilizing from the surface of an epidermal material by adding deodorant having deodorizing and neutralizing actions by 0.05 to 5 in part into a rubber-like sheet material, an epidermal material integrally laminated over the surface of sound absorbing material of a dash panel, etc. inside a vehicle cabin. CONSTITUTION:Inside a vehicle cabin of a dash panel dividing an engine room and a vehicle cabin or on the top surface of a floor panel, an insulator is formed of a two-layer structure which consist of sound absorbing material consisting of felt and urethane foam and epidermal material consisting of noise insulating material integrally laminated and stuck on the sound absorbing material. Activated carbon having deodorizing action and a tree-based essential oil having neutralizing action are added into the rubber, soft synthetic resin and filler which constitute the epidarmal material and the sheet material consisting of a plasticizer, at a rate of 0.05 to 5 in part for the total quantity of the sheet material. The rubber smell volatilizing from the surface of the epidarmal material is eliminated, and the unpleasant smell is removed from a vehicle cabin by mixing and spreading the deodorant in the epidarmal material. |
