PURPOSE:To let the same magnetic brush device act to develop electrostatic latent images to sensible images and clean magnetic toner by letting only the magnet roller for magnetic brush rotate at the developing and letting a non-magnetic material sleeve rotate at the cleaning. CONSTITUTION:In the developing process, with a photoreceptor drum 1 being rotated, the magnetic toner 3 contained in a hopper 2 is attracted onto a non- magnetic material sleeve 6 by the magnetic force of a magnet roller 5 rotating in the arrow direction to form a brush of the magnetic toner, which is then sent to the photosensitive drum 1 forming electrostatic latent images, whereby developing of these to sensible images is accomplished. In this cleaning process, with the magnet roller 5 being kept fixed, the non-magnetic material sleeve 6 rotates in the arrow direction, at which time the magnetic toner 8 which remains on the photoreceptor drum 1 without being transferred makes contact to the brush of the magnetic toner 3 formed on the non-magnetic material sleeve 6 via suitable destaticizing process and is recovered into the non-magnetic material sleeve 6. |
