<p>PURPOSE:To rapidly cool slag and cinder, and facilitate treating work of them for disposal by placing them and quick lime or quick lime-based material in a container in layers and injecting water to cool them. CONSTITUTION:Slag and cinder 3 such as slag, cinder and mixer slag, and treating material 2 such as quick lime powder, gypsum or steel mill dust are placed in a container such as slag pan 1 in layers, allowed to cool for an adequate time, and injected with cooling water 4 along the inside of pan 1 to be cooled. after some time for slaking, the lumpy mixt. of slage and cinder undergone the action of lime powder is discharged from pan 1 at a slaking state without requiring crushing. The treating time is casiderably reduced and scattering of graphite, steam explosion, etc. are prevented.</p> |
