The machine is used for pulverising branches and brushwood and is driven from a tractor power take-off. It comprises a frame (5) and heavy backplate (7) supporting the dual shredding rollers (9, 10). These rotate in the same direction inside an enclosed box (28). Each roller has cutting blades and the branches (25) are introduced through a slot (8b). The first roller (9) provides coarse particles (40) which accummulate in a space (27) and, if necessary, pass into a storage area (28) for later processing. The coarse particles pass between the second roller (10) and adjustable counter blades (30) to be ejected as fine particles (33).
