The apparatus is used for applying corrective traction to the dental arch. It comprises a chin pad (1) and a forehead pad (4), each acting as a support for a main wire frame (7, 9) each side of the face. These wire frames meet in a block (12) and can be adjusted to suit the user. This block also locates a wire subframe (16) which passes across the front of the mouth, at lower lip level. The subframe is used for holding the clamps (17, 18) applying the dental arch traction and can be adjusted along the frame length.
