<p>The handling robot provides movement in vertical and horizontal planes and these are controlled by means of adjustable fixed and mobile stops. A compressed air cylinder operates each movement and circular shafts with sliding bushes guide the movements and also prevent any unwanted rotation between parts. Each air cylinder operates within the limits set by the associated stops, being restricted by physical contact. To prevent any impact shocks, each relevant movement is equipped with a shock absorbing unit which slows down the final stroke movement. Micro-switches then initiate the following sequences.</p> |
