PURPOSE:To surely lock up by an inscribed gear a unit, which adjusts the supporting force of a back's lumbar part which is an important part to obtain comfortable sit-feeling, and accurately adjust the supporting force. CONSTITUTION:The back 20 of the seat comprises a frame 22, a lumbar supporting mechanism 26 attached by screws 27 to brackets 24 fixed in the lumber supporting position of the back 20, a crank rod 28 fixed to said mechanism 26, zigzag springs 30 attached to the frame 22, and vertical springs 32 attached to the zigzag springs 30 and the rod 28. In the lumber supporting mechanism 26, first member 54 is eccentrically turned by a handle 70 through an eccentric wheel part provided on a shaft 64 so that the position of engagement of an internal gear 52 with an external gear 56 is moved by the tooth number ratio. Thereby, said rod 28 fixed to a lug part 78 is swung to appropriately support the lumbar of the passenger. |
