<p>Appts. is claimed for accepting mixtures of glass and plastics, i.e. bottles complete with tops and labels, which have been sepd. from other rubbish, and for successively sepg. large pieces (complete bottles) from small pieces (fragments) and the sepg. the glass from the plastics components in each stream. Other types of material are also isolated, either by inspection, by magnetic screening or by controlled draughts. Used to recover, separately, glass and thermoplastic material for recycling, on a fairly large scale, e.g. via a feed hooper accepting mixed stock discharge directly from lorries.</p> |
