<p>Textile wallpaper comprising a support layer (1) bonded by an adhesive layer (2) to a fabric web (3). With this kind of wallpaper the problem is that the threads (3a, 3b) of the fabric web (3) are easily detached from the support layer (1), in particular at the cut edges of the wallpaper, making use very difficult, if not impossible. To avoid detachment of the threads (3a, 3b), a further thin layer of adhesive (4) has been applied to the front of the wallpaper. To prevent detachment at the cut edges, it is sufficient to apply a coating (4) along the edge. By coating the entire visible surface it is possible to reduce the flammability and to improve the washability and printability. The thickness of the adhesive layer (2) which is situated between the support layer (1) and the fabric web (3) can be reduced compared with existing wallpapers.
