<p>Method for desulfurizing melted iron whereby incombustible standardized hollow bodies (1) containing pieces of Mg, delivered closed and in which openings (9, 10) are made just prior to use, are maintained by a member (15) close to the bottom of a casting tank (16), and are covered with the melted material and consequently the melted material is treated and diluted to reach the desired concentration. The destroyed hollow bodies are carried away on the surface of the melted material. </p> |
