<p>A housing (1) which encloses a conveyor for bulk material is pro vided with a safety discharge port (2). An external door (9) is hinged above the top edge of the safety port and it is normally held in the closed position. A bell crank lever (13) on a pivot location (14) near the bottom edge of the door (9), carries an adjustable weight (17). The weight produces a torque which regulates the pressure that is required to lift the locking arm (11) in order to release the safety port at the chosen bulk pressure.</p> |
