<p>The pressure vessel is for fluid or paste, and is of textile and squeezeable material with relatively small elasticity, pref. fire hose etc. The wall of the hose body is stabilised against swelling under fluid pressure, one or more sealed hose chambers being formed in it. One or both chamber ends are sealed by a locking device with top and bottom parts clamped against it to form a line contact. One or more fluid supply unions are provided for the hose chamber. The hose can be enclosed by a tubular component to protect against bursting. Pref. the hose has an inner elastomeric component and an outer fabric component made of aramid or nylon.</p> |
