The display stand for goods on sale, such as belts, has a fixture and security device to prevent the merchandise from being shoplifted. The stand incorporates a hooked end (1) and is made of one or more pieces. Another end piece (5) has one or more slots (6) in the inside of the end piece (5), to form a loop. The shape of the design and the slots (6) prevents the loop (5) from being opened, and at the same time acts as an automatically operating lock for the loop (5). The stand has any number, shape or size of holes (3) in it.
