Spark erosion machine electrode chuck - has aligning stop with inclined surface adjusted relative to reference mark

The clamping chuck for use with electrodes of spark erosion machines, can be used also for other non-rotating tools with cylindrical shanks. The tool is rapidly and accurately aligned without releasing the chuck. The chuck has a stop for aligning the electrode (12). This stop has an inclined surface and it is rotated about the shank axis. The stop has a support which can be adjusted relative to a reference mark (14) on the chuck. This support has teeth (26, 27) on its circumference which engage with an external gear wheel teeth (28).
