<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the swinging of a rope body by connecting one end of the damping rope body with excess bending deformation resistance and internal loss, to a position separated more than 1/50 in suspended length from a cage side fulcrum of the rope body, and also connecting the other end to a cage making it have some slackness. CONSTITUTION:One end of a damping rope body 8 with excess bending deformation resistance and internal loss is connected to a position separated more than 1/50 of suspended length from a fulcrum 9 at the side of a cage 1 of a tail cord 7 by connectors 11, and the other end is connected to the cage 1 with another fulcrum 12 by making it have some slackness. They are also connected to an upper main rope 2 as well. With this constitution, the tail cord 7 and the damping rope body are engaged with each other at a position amply separated from the cage 1, and thereby a damping action is effectively performed in spots where deflection of the tail cord 7 is large enough. In this connection, a damping effect at a curved bottom of the damping rope body 8 is utilizable.</p> |
