Automatic water filter cleaning device - actuated by pressure difference on full and annular piston area

The filter for water in the emulsion preparation section of a high-pressure hydraulic system is cleaned automatically by a hydraulic cylinder to actuate a scraper blade. The annular area of the piston is coupled to the mains pressure of the water supply, and the full piston area receives the pressure from downstream of a solenoid valve on the mixing tank. Manually operated cleaning devices with hand wheels are often disregarded because of the heavy work involved. An automatic device saves the labour and the severe damage which may be caused by neglect of the filtration.
