<p>Flat articles e.g., pictures, drawings, documents, photographs, postage stamps, textiles, dried plants, traffic signs or other such indicator boards are reversibly sealed into plastics resin, having previously been placed into an envelope of transparent film whose edges protrude slightly beyond the article. At least one edge of the envelope and/or the embedding plastics layers is provided with a tear-open line or marking. The envelope is opaque to UV radiation. Both it and the plastics resin may contain bactericides and/or fungicides.</p> |
