<p>The pneumatic conveying system for bulk material such as carbon black, employs an intermediate pressure chamber (1) between the supply line (11) from a bulk container and the discharge line (2). The supply line (11) the pressure supply line (3) and a branch line (4) connected across the discharge line all connect to the top of the chamber. The branch line has a further connection (8) for a pressure control system. This system has a cylinder (7) with a piston at the top, with a spring (17) underneath, controlling the connection (8) with the branch line. A spindle (26) for the piston is connected to a stepping motor for the piston at the top, and to an arm (15) at the bottom controlling a valve (5) in the branch line.</p> |
