<p>The electronic pick-up is designed to detect the rotation angle of advance of an ignition system for an engine using the otto cycle. Marks are provided on a disc rotating at the engine speed, and scanned by a sensor. The sensor (G1) is followed by a logic unit (4) controlling two counters (18, 20) and divider (19). An oscillator (10) is connected to the divider's (17, 19). A frequency (F0) is generated in the divider (17) followed by the counter (18) and a divider (19). It is proportional to the motor speed and is applied to the counter (20) in which a reading is set, independent from the engine speed.</p> |
