PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit and to make unnecessary the replacement of resistor, by omitting the protective resistor provided with the protection circuit of a television receiver. CONSTITUTION:Since the output of the windings 4a and 4c is increased when abnormal high voltage is caused, this is detected at the comparison circuit 5a and the horizontal oscillation circuit 1 stopped with the operation of the protective circuit 5. Further, when the transistors constituting the video output circuit and audio output circuit etc. which are load 8 are shortened or when the elements of the rectifying circuit 6 are shortened, since the output of the rectifying circuit 6 is lowered, this is detected with the comparison circuit 5a, and the horizontal oscillation circuit 1 is stopped with the protective circut 5. Thus, greater current flowing to the rectifying circuit 6 and the load 8 can be prevented. |
