PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of hardware for the channel unit, by providing the buffer circuit storing the final result data or the data on the way of folding test, and by executing the folding test of one line only with exclusive use of one subchannel. CONSTITUTION:The communication control unit 330 is connected to the channel unit with the signal line 304, and it is connected to the MODEM with the transmission signal line 305 and the reception signal line 306. The control unit 330 is provided with the transmission delivery control circuit 34, reception delivery control circuit 35, parallel serial conversion circuit 36 connected to the circuits 34,35, and serial parallel conversion circuit 37. Further, the control 33 controlling the transmission and reception selection circuit 32 and the holding switch 38, is provided and the buffer circuit 39 storing the data on the way of folding test and the final result data is provided. Further, the data between the channel unit and the MODEM is temporarily stored in the circuit 39, and various control information on the delivery control is stored, and the circuit 29 is used as the data storage area for the folding test. |
