PURPOSE:To provide an emergency lamp, in which output signal of a power interruption detecting unit and output signal of a control unit consisting of timer, sensors for detecting earthquake or fire, etc. are applied to an AND-gate to light the lamp by a battery, whereby it is enabled not to light the lamp except for at the time of emergency. CONSTITUTION:In normal operation, battery power source 8 is changed by commercial power source 1, and contact (r) of relay Ry in power interruption detecting unit 2 is kept OFF, so that power supply to the lamp 7 is stopped. In timer 3 of control unit 6 using battery 8 as power source, oscillational output of crystal oscillator 3a is frequency divided at frequency-dividing and driving unit 3b and timer output is given for 24 hours. By the output of the above unit 3b, motor 3c is driven to turn off changeover switch 10a for a certain period in a day by means of mechanical unit 3d. At the time of periodic power interruption, switch 10a is turned OFF and contact (r) is closed. However, AND-circuit 11 as a whole functions to connect only lamp 7 and battery 8, so that lamp 7 is not lighted. |
