PURPOSE:To prevent any prohibition against the color developing treatment by making a preset derivative of benzothiazolium exist. CONSTITUTION:A derivative of benzothiazolium prepared in accordance with Formula [wherein: R1 stands for H or alkyl of C1-2; R2 stands for alkyl containing a salt of OH, alkyl containing carboxyl (or its salt) or alkyl containing sulfo (or its salt); X stands for an anion; and n stands for 1 or 2 (an inner salt is prepared for n = 1)] is contained in a photosensitive material of silver halide for color photography, in a color developing liquid or a treating liquid for previous treatment. Thus, the photosensitive material for negative color photography or for reversal color photography can be prevented from being prohibited from its development. |
