PURPOSE:To provide an optical record disc, which has mechanically high regidity and durability, by using and al layer as a reflecting layer and by anodizing the back of the Al layer to form an Al2O3 layer. CONSTITUTION:A transparent plastic substrate 2, which has its one side formed with roughnesses 3 according to recording information signals, is formed on its rough side 3 with a thin film of Al by the evaporation and then is electroplated with an Al film 11 having a thickness of about 50 to 60 microns. Then, the film 11 is anodized to form an anodized film 12 having a thickness of 30 to 40 microns. The film left unanodized performs a function as a reflecting layer. |
