SOLVENT BLEND FOR REMOVING FLUX RESIDUE

A solvent compsn. for removing methylchloroform (I) comprises (a) 93- 96 vol.% of (I) contg. 0.69-0.80 vol.% butylene oxide, 0.35-0.45 vol.% nitromethane and 3.0-3.4 vol.% diethylene ether as stabilizers based on (I), and (b) 4-7 vol.% of a mixt. of 3-5 vol.% 2-butanol and 1-2 vol.% 3-methyl-1-butyn-3-ol based on the total vol. of the compsn. The compsn. is useful for cleaning electronic circuit boards by removing flux. The compsn. has no flash point measured by a cleveland open cup method.
