PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the movement provided in the middle part of a watch and miniaturize the size, by processing drive pulses with a scale-of-60 counter and a shift register, and driving hands with magnets by successively exciting each coil. CONSTITUTION:Hands driving pulses outputted by a frequency dividing circuit 2 are counted by a scale-of-60 counter 5, and the driving pulse counting content of a register 4 which is reset at every counting of 60 is shifted every 1 second. Due to the shift output of the register 4, coils 70 to 759 provided at specified angle intervals in the peripheral part of the watch are excited through a switch circuit 6, and the second hand having a magnet steps by 1 second at every driving pulse. Therefore, the watch doesnot reguire the movement in the middle part thereof, and the thickness and size of the watch may be also reduced. |
