<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a decorative laminate having improved surface propenties free from debossing, by applying a specific adhesive to a substrate, and by pushing the adhesive into the protuberances of a sheet of embossed decorative paper placed on the adhesive under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The cordboard 1 of basis weight 30-100 g/cm<2> is coated or impregnated with the resin 2 if neccssary, and printed with the pattern 3, then coated with the thermosetting resin 4 to form a sheet of decorative paper, which is embossed. The adhesive 5 comprising 100 parts by wt. of an emulsion adhesive and 60- 100 parts by wt. of a urea adhesive is applied to the substrate 6 at a basis weight of 80-200 g/cm<2> (wet), and the embossed paper is placed on the adhesive by a laminator and pressed by rolls at 30-60 deg.C to push the adhesive 5 into the protuberances, thus curing the adhesive 5 with time. EFFECT:Reduced number of steps.</p> |
