Soldering appts. for joining conductor wires to electronic components - uses four pairs of heater electrodes in automatic soldering cycle

The automatic appts. has two soldering stations, each fitted with two pairs of electrodes, and each fed with solder wire via a wire guide(a, b) mounted on a pivot and fitted with a spool of solder wire. Each solder wire can be fed via the combined action of three pneumatic cylinders(PG), where one PC is mounted on the wire guide, whereas the second PC can slide on a rod fixed to the first PC; and the piston rods in these two PC can arrest the feed of the solder wire. The third PC is used to pivot the guide (a or b); and the eight electrodes use electric resistance to heat straight zones of the conductor wires onto which the solder wire is fed. The electrodes in each of the four pairs are pref. inclined to make a V-shaped recess holding the wires being joined. Used for attaching connecting wires to diodes, resistors or capacitors, where two wires are soldered simultaneously to the component.
