<p>The suction operated adjusting device for the distributor of a vehicle engine has a housing (1) with its cover (2) clamping a membrane (6) around its edges onto the base (3). The latter has a cavity (5) for a capacitor, and its ends grip the side (4) of the distributor. The cover has a connection (18) for the carburettor inlet. The diaphragm is pushed down by a spring (8) against a mushroom headed screw (17) whose threaded stem screws into a tapped hole (13) in a control rod (9) with its stem inside the distributor. The control rod has a flanged top (11) which rests in a recess (12) in the top of the distributor.</p> |
