Small HF capacitor continuous mfg. system - has two rolled metal strips stamped and synthetic resin ribbon sandwiched between strips before heating and cutting

The system is for continuous manufacture of small flat electronic capacitors. The capacitors have two electrodes and are of a fixed value and are esp. suitable for HF circuits. Electrode spacing is about 20 microns, the electrodes being formed by stamping out (1) two strips of roller stored metal. The strips are then fed in parallel and twisted such that their large areas face each other. These are brought together, with a strip of 40 to 50 micron styrol (RTM) (12) being fed in between the strips at right angles to the metal run direction. Compression and heating to 200 deg.C reduces the dielectric thickness, to be followed by final removal from the moving strip.
