<p>Rinsing of washing in a washing machine drum is controlled automatically and the number of cycles selected in accordance with the wt. and quality of the fabrics washed. At the beginning of the first rinsing cycle the specific conductivity of the water is measured and the result obtd. is stored in a memory, whereupon after a predetermined period the conductivity of the water is measured again and the difference between the two measured values is calculated. The measurement of the water conductivity is then repeated at predetermined time intervals until the difference obtd. corresponds to a reference value, more partic. when the measured value is lower than the preset value. Measurement is carried by means of the feelers, one for the fresh water supplied to the drum and the other for measuring the rinsing water. Comparison of the conductivity values may be carried with the aid of a microprocessor.</p> |
