<p>The press for batches of linen which have not been prepressed already, is redesigned so that the space occupied by it, its costs of production and its energy requirement are all reduced. The press has a membrane holder which is moved by a working cylinder and before being filled with a pressure medium is locked to a part of the dewatering press. The membrane holder is pressed into a linen container and locked to it. The cylinder moving the membrane carrier is supported on a bridge which is moved by other working cylinders. The linen container can be tilted to empty its contents on to a conveyor belt.</p> |
